Lessons
Afloat has been successfully operating excursions on Sydney Harbour
for 29 years.
We have combined our experience in delivering high quality school
group excursions with the experience of a fully trained and experienced
TESOL teacher to provide "English Afloat". We would like
to thank Sydney College of English, AICL, Central College, SELC, ALC,
and Chatswood IEC for their input after bringing groups on English
Afloat. All were extremely positive and say they will come again. |
Groups have
their own private ferry and can select a 2 hour or 4 hour excursion.
Excursion times are as follows: |

2 hours 10:00
a.m. – 12:00 noon or 12:15 p.m. – 2:15 p.m. |

4 hours 10:00
a.m. – 2:00 p.m. (Monday to Friday) |

Combinations of
different groups e.g. EAP, ELICOS and High School have been successfully
achieved |

English Afloat
excursions have been designed by language professionals. The excursions
combine English Language lessons with a Sydney Harbour ferry experience
on board your own private ferry |

Commentary by a
Lessons Afloat excursion leader is geared to all language levels and
is clearly amplified on a public address system throughout the ferry
both inside and outside. |

WHERE DO WE
GO? |
The main SYDNEY
HARBOUR area. Pick and drop off at CIRCULAR QUAY.
(Other pick up and drop off points can be organised with advance notice)
Optional stop at Watson’s Bay and ‘Aussie Fish ‘n Chips’
for lunch. |

RECEIVE? |

Teacher’s
Pack includes pre-worksheet, worksheet for ferry excursion and followup
worksheet which will be sent to the college prior to the excursion.
Worksheets etc. have been designed by fully trained and experienced
TESOL teachers and are geared to the four macro skills. Maps will
be given to the students by the Lessons Afloat excursion leader on
the day. |

INTERESTING, INTERACTIVE EXCURSION WHY NOT BRING YOUR WHOLE COLLEGE
